Great products create opportunity. The right relationships open markets.
SoloInsight, the company behind CloudGate, delivers enterprise physical identity and access management technology across Energy, Healthcare, Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Education. Its platform manages millions of identities for more than 100 customers across over 47 countries.
With an established global footprint, SoloInsight identified Texas as a strategic market for expansion.
But entering a competitive enterprise market requires more than technology. It demands industry knowledge, trusted relationships, access to decision-makers, and a commercialization strategy grounded in how business actually happens.
SoloInsight engaged iBrands Group as its strategic business development partner in Texas to build that market presence.
The Challenge
Texas offers significant opportunities across Energy, Healthcare, and Enterprise sectors. Yet reaching enterprise decision-makers requires navigating established industry networks, complex organizational structures, and relationship-driven business environments.
The challenge was not simply identifying prospective customers. It was establishing SoloInsight within the right industry ecosystems, understanding the decision-making landscape, and creating credible pathways to commercial conversations.
Our mandate was clear: Build the relationships, market intelligence, and strategic channels that support SoloInsight's long-term commercialization in Texas.
Our Role
iBrands Group serves as SoloInsight's Texas-based strategic business development partner, working alongside its leadership to translate market ambitions into structured business development activities.
We lead commercialization planning, industry engagement, executive relationship development, target-account intelligence, and strategic partnership initiatives.
Our role extends beyond introductions. We work to establish the market conditions that make meaningful enterprise opportunities possible.
SoloInsight retains responsibility for its technology, product demonstrations, pricing, commercial proposals, and customer contracts.
They lead the technology. We help build the market around it.
The First 90 Days
The first 90 days focused on establishing the foundation for sustained market development.
Rather than pursuing disconnected sales activities, iBrands Group advanced coordinated initiatives across industry visibility, executive intelligence, relationship development, and strategic partnerships.
01
Energy
Energy became the primary focus of early commercialization activities.
Through sponsorship of the OGGN Networking Mixer and ongoing engagement with the Oil and Gas Global Network, we positioned SoloInsight within an active community of energy professionals, technology leaders, and industry stakeholders.
Participation in the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA), representing more than 900 member companies, further expanded access to the state's energy industry ecosystem.
These initiatives strengthened SoloInsight's industry visibility, expanded professional connections, and created new pathways for relationship development with relevant business and security stakeholders.
02
Executive Intelligence
Effective enterprise development begins with understanding who influences and makes decisions.
We identified and mapped chief security officers and other security decision-makers across Texas energy organizations, creating a targeted intelligence base for structured executive outreach.
This work established a more focused approach to account prioritization and relationship development.
03
A Strategic Expert Network
To complement direct industry engagement, we initiated the development of a strategic network of industry experts.
The objective is to connect SoloInsight with experienced professionals whose industry knowledge and established relationships can support credible introductions and meaningful enterprise conversations.
This relationship-driven approach is designed to build trust and improve market access beyond traditional prospecting.
04
Channel Partnerships
Enterprise commercialization can be strengthened through established technology advisory and distribution ecosystems.
We advanced discussions toward a potential strategic channel relationship with AVANT, a leading technology services distributor, to explore additional pathways into relevant enterprise accounts.
This initiative remains part of our ongoing partnership development strategy.
05
Healthcare
Healthcare represents another strategic opportunity for SoloInsight's Texas market development.
Through the American Chamber of Health, an established healthcare collaboration ecosystem, we have pursued connections with healthcare stakeholders, hospitals, and industry leaders.
Our participation in healthcare technology and innovation forums supports the identification of relevant opportunities and the development of relationships within the Texas healthcare sector.
Across these initiatives, iBrands Group developed a coordinated approach to market development encompassing industry engagement, target-account intelligence, executive outreach, strategic relationships, and channel opportunities.
Energy remains the primary execution priority, supported by focused development activities in Healthcare and Enterprise markets.
The Foundation
The initial phase of the engagement produced a foundation for continued commercialization:
- An active presence within Texas energy industry networks through sponsorships, association participation, and ongoing engagement.
- A targeted intelligence base identifying security leadership and relevant enterprise accounts.
- Initial development of an industry expert network to support relationship-driven introductions.
- Exploration of strategic technology distribution and advisory channels.
- Healthcare market-development activities supported by established industry relationships.
- A coordinated commercialization approach aligned with SoloInsight's Texas growth priorities.
These milestones represent market-development progress rather than completed sales outcomes. They provide the initial structure for advancing strategic relationships and qualified business opportunities.
The Partnership Continues
The first 90 days were about establishing the foundation. The ongoing engagement is about building upon it.
iBrands Group continues working alongside SoloInsight to strengthen industry relationships, expand executive engagement, develop strategic partnerships, and advance qualified commercial opportunities across Texas.
The long-term objective is to translate market access into sustainable business development opportunities while allowing SoloInsight's leadership to focus on its technology, customers, and commercial execution.
Successful enterprise market development requires more than a list of prospects or a traditional sales campaign.
It requires strategic planning, industry intelligence, trusted relationships, and the ability to execute within the business communities that influence enterprise decisions.
Through our partnership with SoloInsight, iBrands Group demonstrates a hands-on approach to commercialization, connecting strategy with market engagement and relationship development.
We help enterprise technology companies move beyond market ambition toward meaningful market presence.
We don't just develop growth strategies. We help put them into motion.
